Shopping Angel, a nonprofit program, was established in the Spring of 2020 with a goal to help get groceries and other health and sanitary products delivered to elderly people and other at-risk groups during the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization is run by a network of volunteers around the world. Our mission is to wayfinding and improves Shopping Angel's current operation which was a newsletter, google sign up form, go-fund-me page, and some social media platforms. We are able to design a site that covers all the essential needs for them.
During our research, we noticed Shopping Angels had no official website. They used a Gofundme and a Google Form to gather the information of potential volunteers and recipients who were interested. This leaves with many issues like credibility, no method of formally communicating, no official way of organizing chapter locations, no unified contact information page, and a scattered internet presence.
The three steps sign up forms allow shopping Angel to better organize the shopper information. On the other hand, shoppers are also easier to navigate on the site.
The data were designed for the shopper to be aware of the current COVID situation. As the Shopping Angel's original newsletter mentioned they would like all the shoppers to be safe and be careful.
