Youth Beat is an organization that provides free digital media training to kids from the bay area’s low-income neighborhoods. Their mission is to help inner-city kids to get on a path that leads to success in college, career, and life.
We helped Youth Beat name its upcoming student documentary film "Of Oakland" and designed the campaign assets speak for them such as for social media such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
We created bold graphics and strong imagery of the student producers themselves to visually narrate the topics of culture, diversity, and empathy explored in this student film. We create a design that reaches various audience members from the local people of Oakland, fellow students, or anyone who is simply moved by activism and the individual stories told by Youth Beat’s student producers.
